Global Partners Night

Together we'll remember all that God has done across the globe through our Global Partners and we will reconnect with current and former Global Partners serving locally and globally. We will also have the opportunity to recommit together to reaching our Adopted People Group in South Asia.
Friday, October 11th
Senior Connection Potluck
11:00 am
Seniors, come for our special 100th Anniversary Potluck. Out-of-town guests are welcome! Pastor Fred and Berta Martin plan to join us. Come at 11 am for visiting, and we'll eat at 11:30 am. After lunch Sarah (Page) Friesen will share a devotional. Then we'll have a Heritage Panel with Sarah, her sister Ruth Eastling, Allen Benson, and other old-timers. Hear stories of the early days of our church! Contact Laura Englestad for questions.
Through the Decades
6:30 pm
Come enjoy a fun video presentation reviewing our church’s 100 year history. We'll have some audience participation and a trivia quiz about our history with a chance to win the privilege of ringing the church bell on Sunday morning. We will hear from some of our church’s “history makers“ including Pastor Fred Martin and Pastor Jerry Johnson. Cookies and cider will be available afterwards.
Saturday, October 12th
Community Day
11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a super fun day full of fellowship, activities, and a free meal! There will be a pulled pork meal at 12:00 pm in the gym. Activities include Bouncy Houses, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Corn Hole, Animal Balloons, Cotton Candy, Cake Walk, and more! Invite your friends and family to this fun event to help celebrate our 100th Anniversary together.
Dessert Night with Friends
6:30-8:30 pm
Join us for a chance to reconnect with each other! Enjoy sampling desserts made from historical church cookbooks while chatting in a relaxing atmosphere. This is a time to enjoy being together seeing old friends. Hope to see you there!
Sunday, October 13th
Combined Worship Service
9:30-11:00 am
Come and hear testimonies of God’s faithfulness throughout E-Free’s 100-year history. We will debut a brand new E-Free song along with congregational singing, music from our handbell choir, kids ministry, and choir. The service will also include times of prayers and the giving of our tithes and offerings. Hear sermons from Oak Hills Christian College President Marty Giese, Pastor Fred Martin, and Pastor Jerry Johnson as well as a greeting from Paul Anderson from our North Central District, EFCA.
Catered Lunch
11:30 am
Directly following the service on Sunday, we will enjoy a delicious meal together provided by Baker’s Place Catering. On the menu is Marinated Chicken Breast, Roasted Baby Red Potatoes, California Medley Vegetable, and Fresh Bread/Butter. We will top it off with 100th Anniversary Cake and Coffee! You MUST RSVP for this meal no later than September 29th!
A Night of Worship and Prayer
6:30-7:30 pm
We will cap off the 100th Anniversary weekend in a spirit of worship and song. This will be an evening of prayer for our church, our community, and our world. We will worship by sharing Communion together. Together we will recommit to Christ, his church, and his disciple-making mission.
