1. What are some ways you prepare for holidays? Do you have any traditions? What are some ways you spiritually prepare yourself for Christian holidays?

2. Read Matt. 21:1-5. The borrowing of the donkey has always intrigued me. Why do you think Jesus chose to borrow the donkey in this manner? What do you think the significance of riding in this way was? (See Zech 9:9)

3. Read John 12:9-11 & 17-18. Had you seen the connection between the witnesses of Lazarus’s resurrection and crowd at the Triumphal Entry before? What role do you think this group of witnesses had in the crowd that day? Do you think this was part of God’s perfect plan?

4. Read Matt. 21:10 and Matt, 16:13-16. Who do you say Jesus is? What are some ways you like to describe Jesus? Do you have any favorite names or attributes of Jesus?

5. In the message, Jason said that “Our Theology is the Ammunition for our Doxology (Worship)”. Do you think that is true? What would worship be like if we had bad theology? Have you seen this before?

6. Read Psa. 46:10. Have you made it a practice to sit quietly before the Lord? If you have, what benefits have you noticed? What makes this practice of quietness difficult?

7. Read Jer. 29:12-13. What does “seeking the Lord” mean to you? Share of a time you were intently seeking the Lord. What was the outcome? Did you feel closer to God afterwards?

8. In your Life Group’s prayer time, pray for each other that God would deepen your worship and knowledge of Him this Easter season.
