1. Other than Jesus, which character in the Nativity story are you most drawn to and why? Mary? Joseph? The shepherds? Or perhaps someone else?

2. What might be one of the worst things that could happen if we don’t rightly understand the facts and fictions around the Nativity story? What might be one of the best things that could happen if we do rightly understand them?

3. What evidence have you heard in support of, or in opposition to, Jesus being a real person in history?

4. Read Matthew 2:1-12. What Nativity facts and fictions does this passage bring to your mind?

5. How does verse 11 describe the worshipful crescendo of this passage? How might this apply to our lives?

6. What have been some of the best ways that you’ve found to “keep Christ in Christmas” rather than being distracted by all of the holiday bling, and hustle and bustle?
