1. Read Romans 13:8-10. Which people do you think are included in our “continuing debt to love one another”?

2. Who are some of the “neighbors” in your life that God is calling you to love?

3. This year’s Super Bowl commercial by “He Gets Us” depicted various Christians washing their neighbor’s feet. How might washing someone’s feet be a helpful way of illustrating Jesus’ command for His followers to “love your neighbor as yourself”?

4. Verses 8 and 10 both mention fulfilling God’s law by loving others. Do you think we even need the rest of God’s commands anymore, since they are summed up in the command to love our neighbors as ourselves? Explain.

5. Can you think of some examples of Christians who’ve gained a reputation for love rather than for harm?
