Mar 15, 2026 |
1. Read Luke 10:38-42. Notice how Jesus doesn’t get flustered at Martha’s anger towards Him and Mary. Have you ever spoken to Jesus in anger before? How has He been patient with you during these times?
2. Read Philippians 4:6. Should our service to God produce anxiety in us? What should we do if it does?
3. Think about your own life priorities. Could you list them in priority level? Do you think your list matches Jesus’ list for you?
4. What do you think about the concept that Secular things can become Sacred things? Do you agree with this concept? Are there exceptions where some activities can never be made holy?
5. Have you had times in your life where you ignored God’s voice and didn’t respond? Looking back, do you wish you had made a different choice?
6. Have you responded to God’s calling to lay down your works as a means of pleasing Him, and rested in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross? If you have, how might you deepen your awareness of your daily need for the Gospel?
7. Pray for each other that God would open your eyes to see when He is drawing near, and for the ability to respond by drawing near to Him.
