Life Group Questions for the Week of November 19, 2023

Nov 19, 2023 |

1. As you skim through the first 11 chapters of Romans, what are some things about the gospel that bring God glory?

2. Read Romans 11:33-36. Verse 33 describes God’s ways as deep, unsearchable, and beyond tracing out. Verse 34 asks who has known God’s mind or ever been His counselor. What might be some of the implications of all this? (See also Isaiah 40:13-14)

3. Romans 11:35 asks if anyone has ever given anything to God or if He has ever owed anyone anything. Read Job 41:11. What might be some of the implications of this?

4. Romans 11:36 declares that God is the source, means, and goal of all things. Why do you think it’s important for us to understand that all things are from Him, through Him, and for Him? (Also consider Acts 17:24-28)

5. Why do you think that verse 36 declares “To Him be the glory forever!” Do you think this is spot on, or is this perhaps going a little too far? Explain.

6. On Sunday some of us shared our gospel testimonies at church. Would anyone in our Life Group like to share how you came to saving faith in Jesus? How is your faith making a difference in your life?
