1. Scripture tells us God sends angels to serve (minister) His people (Heb. 1:14; Ps. 34:6–7). Have you ever experienced or know of someone who has experienced such an event?

2. In v. 45 Elizabeth gives Mary a general blessing; Blessed is she who has believed. How are we to understand this blessing in our own lives? Has the Lord ever spoken to you in such a way that gave you a direction or guidance?

3. Reflecting back on your life, do you see God doing “great” things for you that you cannot explain other than being divine intervention? (cf. vv. 46–49).

4. God’s mercy is for those who fear Him “from generation to generation.” Have you experienced God’s mercy in your family’s life or a close friend’s life? (Ps. 44:4–8; Zeph. 3:17).
