1. Which of the 4 gospels tends to be your favorite and why: Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John?

2. Read Luke 1:1-4. How might you answer, if a friend asked you this question: why does the Bible have 4 different Gospel accounts, and why do they each have different information?

3. What are some unique things about Luke’s Gospel, and about Luke as a person? How might these be important to our understanding of the Good News about Jesus? (See Colossians 4:14; 2 Timothy 4:9-11; Philemon 24)

4. What do you think verse 1 means by “the things that have been fulfilled among us”? (See Luke 24:44-47)

5. What kinds of things can give us assurance that Luke’s account of the Gospel is reliable and trustworthy? (See Luke 1:2-3; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
