Life Group Questions for the Week of September 27, 2026

    Sep 27, 2026 |

    1. Share about a time when you said, “Now what?” — a decisive moment when you knew your life before and after would be different.

    2. Read Rom. 6:1-2. If grace covers all our sin, and we’re completely forgiven for our rebellion—past, present, and future, then does it even matter whether a Christian pursues a righteous life or continues in persistent patterns of sin?

    3. Read Romans 6:3-5. Why do you think Paul wanted these Christians to recall their baptism? How might recalling your own baptism (or conversion) shape your understanding of who you are in union with Christ?

    4. Read Rom. 6:6-10. Paul speaks of a believer’s death to sin not metaphorically, but as something that actually took place in union with Christ. Why do you think that matters?

    5. Sometimes Christians can mistakenly think that they are either stronger or weaker than they really are with respect to sin. If we are in Christ, and have truly died to sin, how should we view our continual struggle against sin?

    6. Read Rom. 6:11-14. What might it mean for you to “offer every part of yourself to [God] as an instrument of righteousness”? How might an audit of the way you use your time, the media you consume, and the words that you speak help you to apply this passage?
